Ticker tape

Very convenient material, but hard to get nowadays.

Folding tape

Adequate, you can get it in paper and stationary shops in different colours and widths.

Gift wrapping tape

Hard to fold. Using connection type 2 may be advantageous. Makes durable models.

Obtainable in a wide range of widths and colours.

Paper measuring tape

Convenient material. You can get it for free in big furniture stores.

Hydrofix paper

Very convenient material. Normally it is used for tagging laundry. You may get it in laundries.

Cut by yourself

Do not use soft paper. Everything else may be suitable (give it a try).
